bob jonnies
Hey all. Today I had three pairs of bettas all breeding at the same time, so I took some pics. This is how I breed - one tank partitioned into three. I find competition between the males a really good way to get them to blow a bubble nest. The nests. Note, I do not bother with jar lids or bits of poly.
Loopy
wow that is SO cool! Congrats! Have you got plans for all the fry? Have you got space for all the fry? they will take up a significantly bigger space than any other fishes fry especially when they start to hit puberty. worth a thought. bob jonnies
Should not be a problem. I use an air line to suck up all the fry and place them in an 8 Ltr tank. This alows the fry to access their food source easily. As they grow bigger so does the tank. The only problem with this method of breeding is the ability to keep the strain true.
