fattythecatty
I'd like to set up a little tank in my kitchen, something to gaze at while I'm doing dishes and such. I haven't had any Killies for awhile and I'm thinking they might be ideal, any other suggestions?
michael.qian
small tank? killies, cardinal or neon tetras.
fattythecatty
I'm thinking of a tank about 18 inches in length, cms???
Fishkeepa
1 and a half foot is probably around 45 cm. Striatums are nice looking killies

fattythecatty
I've had Killies before, Dageti and australe chocs but something more colourful would be great
michael.qian
ok so it's not too small. you can put a decent number of fish in there, with some real plants will look real nice.
fattythecatty
I was thinking a couple of corys too for clean up, trio of killies and maybe 6 neons or is that too much?
michael.qian
that should be fine. what's the volume in litres? just make sure the tank is cycled properly and add fish slowly, especially in a small tank ammonia can spike very high if not cycled properly.
