beno&petal
Hi there we seem to have a problem all of a sudden with a green type snot looking algae in our reef tank...it has been running for nearly 2 years with no probs and all the water tests are fine.We have not changed anything of late or the way we are doing things yet the algae has just appeared and covered most of the rock.Any advise would be good please?? lduncan
A photo really would help. It would give an idea of where and what the algae is, which would give an idea of where the nutrients which are fuelling it are coming from. Is it slimy? Hairy? Crunchy? What does "all the water tests are fine" mean? What tests? What brand test kits? and what are the numbers? Layton
