Chazza404
Question, with Cory whiskers being sensitive to sharp gravels etc would they be fine with Dalton's propagating sand, just checking it out in a tank looks a bit rough with some small glass bits aswell? Thnx for helps
Foxglove
Yeah I thought that but they do seem ok in it. I prefer to use Plasterer's sand, washed well. It is really fine, and they love sifting through it. I've also got some fine beach gravel - I got it myself and found areas where it was pregraded by the tide. Foxglove
Also, gardeners describe Propagating sand as "Sharp Sand" so it really isn't a surprise that it could damage barbels. I've seen those glass shards in it!
