HummingBird
They'll eat anything that'll fit into their mouths basically. As for snails, you might try Ramshorns. They're not too prolific, only eat dead matter and algae (no plants and no baby fish) and can survive cold temperatures happily. I've got a few in the paddling pool where my wcmm's are at the moment and they do a pretty good job keeping shop. If you decide you want a few I've got plenty to spare Mike.
