sub.z
At the moment ive got a tank 60x30x36cm. I have a elite 15 filter on the left hand side of the tank which is close to the top. I regulary have a pump and air stone on to give them oxygen which is at the other end of the tank. The current of the filter seems to be quite strong. Is it ok for the fish? They always seem to be fighting the current. Does anyone have any ideas?
SpidersWeb
Hey sub, I did the numbers at that filter seems like an ideal choice of filter. If the fish are having trouble like you suggest in your post, then try placing the filter in a different location (side of tank instead of the back) so that current is diffused more against the glass, or put a rock or something in the way of the output to help diffuse the flow. Good luck get creative, Jono

sub.z
HI I moved the filter to the back as suggested, it seems to have worked a treat for most of the fish. The ones who dont like it just hang to the other side of the tank. My orandas just seem to keep swimming in the current, weird! lol
