nztrudy
Ok, once again my angel fish have layed eggs, the last 2 times i thought the parents had eaten them so this time i moved the eggs to another tank, (which had no fish in it) when i checked on them this morning they were gone, my dumb question is "do snails eat the eggs?" it is the only thing in the tank and i do have a bit of a problem with them. Chris.L
Yerp - they sure do! If you don't want them, put some clown loaches in there
Alan
Then they'll eat the eggs. My money would be on the parents having a midnight snack. alan
Chris.L
She moved them to a seperate tank, which has snails in. Put clown loaches in there (if you haven't already got 1 or 2) and then put them in your community tank once they are finished. They love snails. Otherwise buy some chemical (forgot what it's called) but you can't have plants in the tank - it kills 'em.
nztrudy
Thanks for that, will try the clown loaches.
Bruce
Otherwise buy some chemical (forgot what it's called) but you can't have plants in the tank - it kills 'em. Its called Snail Rid, and yes it will knock off the plant, but seems to work OK Good luck with the next batch of Angels /Bruce
