Fishkeepa
It will clear up in a few days but its good fix the cause -presuming you can find it So... Did you change any filter media lately or use any meds that could have killed the bacteria population. Any fish gone missing and not returned (might be polluting the tank) or been feeding extra food lately. Introduced a few new fish. Those the reasons ive heard. The water change should and it should be gone in a few days unless there is an ongoing problem
Gannet
well i did put some coral pices in the filter recently (about a week ago) and also last night i put a fish bak in the tank that had been in a hospital tank for a week. when i added the coral i also cleaned the filter meadia as there was alot of crap on it. but i did clean it in water from the tank so that shouldnt of killed it
Fishkeepa
I dont think it would have been the coral. I think sometimes the crap can contain a bit of bacteria so maybe that was it. :-? Hope it clears up soon
herefishiefishie
If you let the filter material dry out at all while cleaning it, will kill off some of the bacteria. Frenchy
