davidb
hey can we not get splash tetra's (Copella arnoldi) in N.Z? they look like cool fish and I wanted to set up a tank with them, bristlenoses, pencilfish and rams (A coloumbian/guyanian tank) What other fish come from this region? Keyhole cichlids do aye... and of course glowlight tetra's come from this region but I would rather have splash tetra's if I can get my hands on them cheers

Faran
They've been on the wholesalers lists and mentioned on here (as above). Cool fish, but pretty hard to breed in captivity as you need a "super special setup" for them... I have an Amazon fish vid that shows them breeding. Pretty wicked!
