mat692 Posted January 15, 2007 Author Report Share Posted January 15, 2007 will try to get a photo when I come back from whangamata, the whole fin seems to be red, the pectoral flappy one. Its in with an O some large Plecs 3 jewels 1male 2 females I beleive and a female con, they all get along... just had a thought I put a few baby cons in as feeders and they hide under te slate rocks ect I think he might have gone for them and (got himself) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

sharn Posted January 17, 2007 Report Share Posted January 17, 2007 no pics? sounds bacterial whatever it is, it may have started from a wound or something though. its really hard to treat big fish (their size makes moving them hard or the water volume of their tank means treating is costly), is he small enough to move still? if so id go with a broard spectrum antibiotic like furan 2 or something similar. im unsure if clowns are med sensitive or not, i know furans fine for plecs etc Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
