Yes true, but i thought that cos he put it in the saltwater section he musta meant salt :lol:

Um, I had a 30L nano without a skimmer, and it went alright. Skimmers remove ALOT of crap from the water. Without one, you just need to do regular water changes, ie. Weekly to twice weekly depending on sizes.... The more the better realy.... I have a 50 odd litre tank now and i havent got a skimmer running on it ATM and its going good, but i plan to put a skimmer on it soon. It just removes alot of nutrients from the water, making the water 'cleaner' and giving the algae less nutrients to feed on.....

A small reef aquarium, generally 20 gallons or less. Also known as nanoreef or nano-reef.

Pico Reef

A small reef aquarium, generally 5 gallons or less. Also known as picoreef or pico-reef.

It's a awesome site, some of the galleries are very impressive.
