mat692
I have read that the cord between the control gear and the lights shouldnt be more than 1m? is this true? working on this can I assume the longer the cable the less efficent the light? or does it not matter? evilknieval69
Yer, it says on those ones that you have, that it should be 1m max. I did have mine a little bit longer until i found it out, but it still worked. Probably wasnt as efficient though.. Im not sure...
richms
High frequancy electronic ones are more important because they radiate interference while running, for the magnetic ballasts its only while striking that interference is a big issue, so noone will hunt you down for jamming their AM radio reception for a second once a day. There are efficiancy issues too, but primerily its the length of cable tha tit will still pass the emissions test with.
