HelifaxNZ
Does anyone know what creature this is??? Sort of like a worm. Moves around, but very very slowly. Not like a bristleworm. Also trying to locate the Nudi to take out of the tank, but no luck so far!

Feelers
Are you sure this thing isnt a nudi also? Those big things on the head end make me think it is a nudi?
HelifaxNZ
Yeah I was wondering whether it was or not, but it doesn't have the colourful marking like a Nudi and this is 5.5cm long!
cookie extreme
looks like a feather duster that lost its old crown due to spawning and moved out from its tube (has happend to me before). just watch it, place it in a secure spot (hole) with medium flow and see what will happen. it should form a new tube quickly, the "feather" will take a bit longer to grow
Organism
Hard to say for sure with these types of things, but it looks like it may be a feather duster worm that has lost its filter feeding appendage and left its tube. Have u had feather duster that has mysteriously dissapeared recently? As u say its movement is slow this further makes me think this is what it is as they have poor mobility out of their tubes. HelifaxNZ
yes I recently got a feather duster and I found it near the tube. Ok, I'll do as you suggest Cookie. Will report back. Cheers guys.
HelifaxNZ
I've stuck it in a hole and it's slowly going into it so will see if there are any changes tomorrow. The lights are going off now for the night. cheers
TM
Yip i agree to. Push it into a hole as cookie said, should be fine. I also found some angels pick at them and sometimes pull them out
HelifaxNZ
Well, looking in my tank today, the FD has disappeared! Probably eaten by the Bristleworms. Can't find it anywhere
cookie extreme
it may have just moved to a safer place. wait and see if a head pops up somewhere in the tank in the next few weeks.
