Graeme Jackson
I am planning a trip to Hamilton next weekend, is there any good LFS up there? Or breeders that wouldn't mind a visit from a wandering fisho.
TimTam22
Go to the Fish bowl in fairfield.
Luke*
There's also Pet City in Te Rapa and Pet World in town that are worth a looksee but yea definitely GoldFishBowl as he specialises in just fish and products. I'd be happy for you to check out my set up but I'll be in Tauranga. How long are you in Hamilton for?
Graeme Jackson
Hi Luke, Thanks for the info, Just for Saturday at this stage, I'll let you know if things change
Tanksman
I would strike pet city off your list. That will save you time. But Goldfish bowl is the best LFS in Hamilton so check that out. Maybe you could come up or go back via Tirau. There are often some rare fish at Tropical Blues in Tirau. And then of course Rotorua has a better shop still in Wonderworld.
Damiana
PetCity has just reworked their fish section and is pretty good these days. (Gotta speak up for Rachel and the crew over there!) Its worth a look-see, even if they're not exclusively fish.
Luke*
Yea I think they have some new guppies and cichlids in some new tanks behind where all the usual ones are. Last time I was there they also had a bargain table at the front which is awesome everything priced at $1,$2,$5,$20,$50 etc via stickers, some expensive equipment like pumps all brand new there. I got two lots of fish food for $20 which originally would've cost $
