He's in the sump for now, much happier, swimming round and eating. Not to sure how his reintroduction to the main tank will go though. Have two small BTA's, too small for the clowns to show any interest in.

Don't think there will be eggs anytime soon, he doesn't want anything to do with her. My tang has taken to protecting him, but he's still not looking too flash.

I've had a pair of Clark's clownfish for about two months and they've been getting along fine. Yesterday I noticed them both twitching strangely for a few seconds at a time and then later that day the female chasing the male in a extremely aggressive manor. They also appeared to be biting at the rock work occasionally. The behaviour has continued today and the male is hiding whenever possible in the rock work or hovering vertically in one of the top corners of the tank. His anal, caudal and dorsal fins all look damaged. Is this normal pre spawning behaviour or something else?

The 'toxic steam' would be the snail spawning??
