Has anyone ever spotlighted at the stream behind the zoo. Of so, is it appease access to waterside and what have you found? Another thing, if anyone is looking for giant or banded kokopu in Auckland. There's a stream near the boat club in Maraetai inside Adah Platts Mills park. They are infesting the place. I have spotted 33 in one night including various other species and eels. Good to see such large numbers of them. They're not very shy either as they are used to people. During the day they're under the banks with the koura but at night they're jumping all around. Anyway any help would be appreciated about the auckland zoo stream. Thanks.
No, by the way ignore the other post I didn't see that this was successfully posted. It's Scientific name: Trachurus novaezelandiae horse mackerel, yellowtail, jack Mack, yakka
First time setting up a saltwater tank and I want to keep yellowtail mackerel, no rocks, no coral. 300 litre tank, how would I go amongst it, I have done as much research as possible but I'm really lost.
Thinking of keeping (not sure if they are native) yellowtail mackerel in a tank (300l) never kept saltwater before but I just want these fish, no rocks or coral just fish, what equipment temperature. All that sort of stuff, doing my best to research this.
SergeantSkull is back. I got a new email so I made a new account which is why my name is spelled differently now. Anyway, I wanted to ask, does anyone have any photos of a black mud fish baby cause I believe I have one but they're quite quick. Oops my bad, I think I have 2.
