Our techo guy has added video of embryos in the egg, newly hatched fry under microscope and some further life stages to the video we posted few days back. Check it out at Enjoy Dave Cooper Mahurangi Tech.

We do both. We get the best results by seperating the eggs from the adults. I suspect that in a tank situation there are too many stresses such as other fish close by and syphon hoses appearing from nowhere and they freak out and eat the eggs.
