Hi guys,
Im planning to breed my Leos this year.
What substrates are people using to keep their eggs on in the incubator? and in their lay boxes?
Perlite? vermiculite? any others?
Thanks :bggrn:

Wait wait wait!! isnt it "Mack" Snow (named after the couple who first discovered the morph, Mr and Mrs Mack) not "Max" Snow, also whats a basic snow?
-
We'll maybe this session we'll see some super snows, if not then its a safe bet that there are no mack snows in NZ, which would be a little sad
-
yeah i have 2 of your possible MS
Have you done much breeding with the MS you have?
-
So iv seen a bit of talk about people with Mack Snows (I myself have a possible pair) and have also seen a few Mack Snows/Possible Mack Snows on Trade me.
My question is, Has anyone managed to hatch out a Super Snow yet?

is that not a process in making bark? im sure i read somewhere that bark goes through some form of heat treatment
-
Is Pine Bark ok? Iv heard pine oil/sap is a cause of lung and liver issues in reptiles, however pine bark will have been heat treated which would get rid of the oil/sap.
-
Also anyone used Coco chips?
-
I mean what type, as in wood. or is any old bark from say Mitre 10 ok?
-
What kind of Bark is ok to use?

Has anyone had issues with Females being aggressive towards another Female? or can point me to a forum that talks about this? i know it does happen but thing im more worried about is when it comes to breeding and how she will act around a Male.
I posted pictures of my 3 leos and the one im talking about is Meridia, the tad over weight one (3rd picture). I found that she does not like being around the other female and will try to bite her (its why they now have their own enclosures. Do you guys think she'll be like this around a Male?
