I had viewed these forums a few times before and now that I am needing to decommission my tank, due to relocating back to Canada, I thought this'd be a good place to find new homes for my fish and aquatic plants.
I have a 450L tropical community tank, sporting a rimu stand and hood, with various gourami, cardinal tetras, red phantom tetras, rummy nose tetras, ghost glass catfish, 2 black line flying fox, a rainbow shark, a Chinese algae eater, 2 chocolate zebra plecs, a red whiptail, a panda whiptail and a royal whiptail. Plant wise I am prone to collect echinodorus and cyperus varieties, but my all time favorite will always be aponogeton Madagascariensis. And believe it or not, besides a small goldfish tank when I was little, this is my first aquarium! I also have a passion for Siamese Fighters and have kept quite a few varieties.
For my next tank, I plan on building a monster to house a pearl Arowana. There's just something about these fish that demands my attention.
Eventually I would like to expand my knowledge base to include marine aquaria care.
Hopefully I'll do well at contributing a little to this online community!
Cheers,
Meisha.
