Hi, a friend gave me some oxygen weed from his pond. When I got home, I realised that the plants have green hairy stuff growing on the leaves so I gave the plants a wash. Does anyone know whethter that green hairy stuff is harmful to fish? Thank you.

sory, 4 got to mention. The fish does not look interested in the food and just swims pass it most of the time. However, yesterday I saw the fish spitting its food after taking the food into its mouth.

Hi, the tank is at least 360L. The fish is actually one of the larger ones in there and it has not eaten for probably 3 days now. I also noticed that the edge of its tail has somehow turned a bit black in colour (it is an orange normal goldfish btw). Thank you.

Hi, I have 15 goldfish in my tank. All of them are eating and healthy except one. I do not know what is wrong but it does not seem to be eating. Is there anything I can do? Also I have realised that its dorsal fin is not spread out like normal and its mouth seems to have some black colouration that was never there before. Thank you for reading my post.

Someone is giving me their goldfish,but because I havent been to their place, I dont know how large the pond is. They are common goldfish and most of them havent changed to adult colour. I intend to move 5 to the tank. The tank is already filled with water with neons and platties in it currently. Before the neons, I had hundreds of guppies in the tank. The neons and the platties will be removed to another tank when the goldfish come home. Thank you for your interest to help. Cheers

Hi, hope to learn much from many who are on this forum and would like to contribute if I ever get a chance. I have only been keeping guppies for a few months. I also keep convicts, minnows and platys. The convicts have their own separate tank so they cant get to the guppies :happy2:
