Will try Apple as treats
-
Yes I have, but nothing has told me anything about the treats I should be giving them. Just to be clear, I am only finding a good treat to give him while trying to train him besides giving him honey. It would be rather silly of me to buy a Lorikeet without first doing my research on them :bggrn: .
I saw this video of a Lorikeet doing tricks but it isn't giving honey as treats. So trying to figure out what they are.

Hi, I tried feeding him some dried fruits, it seems he chews on the fruit and just spits it out?

I have a clickers and tried to use the honey as treats
,
I am going to try this idea todayDried fruit is a good titbit, small pieces.thank you

Don't let him get used to going to your shoulder when he pleases. You should be in control or in no time you'll be the pet.
What should I do to control him from going on my shoulder. Any sort of help will be much appreciated
. I find it really hard to train him to do tricks, he doesn't seem interested in honey as a treat. Does anyone use something else besides honey as treats.

Yeah, I am still hand feeding the bird
I have already trained him to potty, just need to work on other things
Yeah, she was selling two Lorikeet, both were really friendly and loves to be around people. He loves to climb on everyone shoulder and just sit there.

Unsure about the age, but I think he/she is about 6-7 weeks old. Extremely Friendly, loves to cuddle and be on people shoulders! And heaps of fun! His/Her name is Yaku Ollive Lorikeet!

Thank you for the reply. Just bought a hand raised lorikeet, still a baby. Loves to be on shoulders and love to be around people. Just need to learn how to potty train, any good advice?

Yeah, I am planning to get the Reptile One Saburra 120 Vivarium. Reason why I wanted a smaller cage is because my landlord doesn't allow big cage/tanks in the apartment. That is why I wanted something for temp till I move back to my place.
-
Sorry if the title is a bit unclear, but I was wondering would a tank with a dimension of 45lx45wx60h(cm) be fine for a bearded dragon maybe temporary(9 month max). If the tank is a bit small what would the ideal tank size be. I am getting a Inland bearded dragon if that count for the size as well and it is 6 weeks old

There is a cheap baby beardie on trade me with an injured foot. Mack Snow, High Yellow and Normal are the only strains somewhat common.
Is there a way find a Mack Snow Leopard Gecko?
-
Thank you for the reply
Anyone has any bearded dragons for sale? Or would I need to post this on private trades. I was wondering is there different type of strain breed in New Zealand for Leopard Gecko. Is there a way to get other strain of leopard gecko into New Zealand?

Hi There,
I'm going to set up a 366L tank (122Lx50Wx60H). I was wondering are the bottom tank stock okay for the tank size or would it be overstock. If it might be to small for the below, wonder how many L would be recommended.
I've got a Aqua One Ocellaris 3000 UVC Canister Filter
4x Discus
40x Corydoras (mix of sterbei, similes)
10x Rammynose
2x blue phantom pleco
