  4. hey dude dont worry if she keeps laying if the other fish are eating

the eggs up. its a source off food for them, discus need warmer water for them to breed, the hardest part of breeding discus is getting a pair

    hope this helps

  5. welcome to the sunny south

as you have found out lfs are in small no.s here

if possible i can help you out in anyway

    just give a hollah

    cheers MArty

  6. thanks for the help alan

i paid $30 each for the australes and $26 for the ameitis!

have just ordered some blue panchax at $10 each

i have tanks with lots of differnt fish but the killies r what everyone is looking at!

    not my discus :D

  7. i have 7 spieces of corys here at the mo.

i am not breeding any at the mo as im have just started with killies

i am hoping to have some luck with those first!

down here in the south we have to pay $20 for special corys

for instance $18 for a panda, $22 for a sterbai

  8. it has been interesting reading how differnt people breed them

all i do is have a 3ft tank with a bith of fine gravel at the bottom with a clump of willow moss in it and leave them alone!

i have had 1000's of young over the last few years and cannot keep up with the supply!! i feed the young up on tetra baby food, it is a really fine powder

i have had no probs with the fry eating fry

they do grow up at differnt rates so if you r doing lots of them it pays to have lots of tanks

    good luck!
