The tank is still going, although i'm currently at uni where as the tank is at home. Makes it a little difficult to look after and I don't really know if it's in the best condition atm.
I'll be home around the 22nd of April though, should be able to give it a clean up around then and maybe give this an update.
Photo isn't the best, phone quality pics ftw.
C. balansae spathe, took forever to flower just wanted to grow and grow, ending up at about 12-13cm tall.
Another one is coming up atm, going to be a while before it eventually opens though.
Yeah we keep them, we managed to get them to breed back when we had one sadly it died soon after giving birth to a pair of yellow/green babies Wouldn't mind getting a few more females though.
That's how a macro lens works
Sisters friend came round with her macro lens, had a bit of fun taking some photos. Forests & Common green geckos
Too bad they're all males
This one and the next one would have to be my favorites out of the set.
I've never seen an emerged set up with vertical glosso, seen it grow up under lower light under water though. Unless you count where you get so much growth it starts to grow on top of each other.
C. Pontederiifolia spathe. Partially melted as I didn't have a camera until I realised that le phone didn't take too bad of a picture.
Need to set up another tank some time. Want to try expand on my current emersed collection a little. 7 pots in a 2ft tank isn't fufilling anymore
Latest C. Undulata spathe. Only one as the other pictures were a bity blurry.
Sure you can make space, a 60x30x60 sitting on the floor will do for a tank/lighting
Dont really show my pictures around that much mainly just to the odd friend. Although I do like my many cat pictures.
It's really not that hard, very cheap if you don't mind how pretty it looks. Could do it in a plastic tub if you really wanted too
Have a C. Undulata spathe out atm, with another spathe from that and C. Willisii 'lucens' coming out in the next week or so.
Can get pictures up later after dindins.
C. Willisi spathe, has yet to open.
The spathe itself is tiny, ~5cm from base to top and was it was difficult to get a clear picture of it.
Who would I go to to see if they need pictures?
