Hi. Thanks for the welcome and advice. I have an Aqua One Ar850 with the built in filtration. I have been doing a water change of about 40 litrs every week, and everything looks healthy. Some of the fish are from my old tank that had an internal useless filter .I believe the pleco is the commonest type, sort of leopard spotted. It is about 8 months old. I have been following the guidelines for filter maintanance etc given with the tank. The reason I joined this forum is because I think my old tank survived through good luck, and this site was reccomended. Lots to learn I think!

Is there a rough way to figure out how many fish to have in a tank? ie fish per litre? I have a 165 ltr tank with about 26 small fish in apart from my pleco . There are 3 small silver angels and the rest are assorted tetras.
