My poor Flowerhorn.. Everyone Talks about him sooo bad.. I had no Idea.. I just thought he was a pretty fish at the pet store..
-
Okay... For the sake of the Flowerhorn I will leave the fry.. Cute little buggers they look grayish with a black line.. It did cross my mind that the red devil might take it out on the flowerhorn if I remove the fry.
-
I am reading up on it now.. and I'm not sure if I should destroy the fry or what... Im reading some pretty scary articles. My usually Evil Red devil is being so nurturing I hate to remove the fry.... The Flowerhorn is nowhere to be found Hides out in the log 90% of the time.. Not even eating like normal.

I have a Flowerhorn and Red devil that I put in a tank alone because they were making trouble in my community cichlid tank... they were in there together maybe 3 weeks. Now I have a tank full of babies. I have no idea what is going on.. which is mommy and which is daddy. This is the last thing I expected to happen... Can someone please tell me what is going on..

Thanks. We just added him he was a bit stressed. they list some as just "Assorted African" at my lfs . I have another I need an ID on once I figure out what im doing wrong with these pictures.

Can someone help me identify the black and white striped African cichlid seen in attached photos? I want to make sure they are all lake malawi africans, but I'm not sure about this one.

Thanks.. I was gonna go with the synos. I've never seen or heard of the blue phantom in my area, but I would love a pleco in there. I always thought plecos were plecos, silly me. I have lots of different ones different colors bought at different times. and one looks a lot like photos I am pulling up for the blue phantom. Could it me an impostor?

I will duck after this post... but Goldfish. He has been eating them since he was small he is about a ft long now. he is in a 75 gallon tank with a red belly pacu, and a pleco..

My clown knife is lethargic, and not eating. He moves to the top of the water every so often and right back down to the bottom.

I found one on "Craigslist" ... 125 gallons. Now they will have to have company...

I have a Siamese fighter in my community tank with assorted Danios, Rasboras, Tetras, Gouramis, Corys, Loaches, and a couple zig zags. the tanks is huge. but he has adopted one litta area that he doesnt leave until feeding time. They have been all in there now for some time without incident, but could all the other fish be stressful for him?
-
No luck finding a new tank. I am gonna do some shifting and moving and see how that goes.
-
that makes me hopeful onch. I really don't want to get rid of them. They started the whole fish keeping bug. I was warned they would get big. just not how fast. I went from 1 tank to 9 in under a year. from the 75 gallon tank they are in now. all the way down to the 10 gallon They came home to. I am going to the LFS store now to price some tanks. Maybe I will find a deal... wish me luck. if adding a 10th is luck :-?

the tank is higher than it is wide.. the dimensions are all wrong.. go figure... Guess i will have to rob a bank and get rid of the furniture..
