  1. Thanks Ryan He is a wild caught eel that resides in lake Malawi. His posh name is :- Aethiomastacembelus Shiranus or Malawi Spiny eel. They get up to 30cm (12") He gets fed on white worm, blood worm, brine shrimp, Prawns, krill & New spectrum pellets. I have a plastic coke bottle that he has to be fed in so the other Malawi don't pinch his food before he gets a chance to have it. Other than that they are opportunist scavengers and will feed on any dead fish or small fry that happen to be available too.

  6. Very nice set up you have there. Your discus are very pretty. I Kept discus for about 2 years a few years back but I gave them up because they just became too much hard work. Love the rams another of my favorite fish.

  12. Here is my 6 foot 70 uk gallon Malawi tank. Aulonacara Baenschi Aulonacara Maluana ( bi colour 500 ) I have 6 Red Empress ( 1 male and 5 female ) My male is just starting to colour up.

  14. Hi from the UK I have had tropical fish for a good few years now. Mainly Central & SA cichlids. ( Can't get enough of cichlids ) I have since given them up for a while and gone down the root of owning some Malawi's. I have started my first tank and I have Peacocks & Haps. Here are some pictures.
