  1. it fits nicely in the rear compartment it worked well enough for the puffers setup the tank swings from 24.8 on cooler mornings to  27.4 on warm afternoons mostly because the room heats up in the afternoon sun, as were heading towards winter this shouldn't be two much of a problem edit: tank is currently 26.8 corals dont seem to mind it and the turbo snails are still turboing :sml2:

I got up to quite a bit overseas (mostly trouble) but some of the not so troublesome things I did was: spent some time in Asia teaching english and working in a sanctuary for elephants for about 6 months Then went to Argentina for a few months to watch the orca hunting south american sea lions hope those img links work :smln:

Hey everyone A few people on here may remember me from a few years ago. after not having a take at uni and traveling for a few years I've got back into fish keeping :happy1: currently I have a 2 foot planted tank and in the process of converting my pico cube (9L) which had dwarf puffers in to a pico reef :bounce:
  7. so im culturing some fruit flys in a mixture that i got a recipie for on the internet 1 part sugure 2 part milk pouder and 3 parts instant potato mash to 6 parts water its been going for about a week now but is starting to smell like its fermenting is this normal for fruit fly cultures? the adult flys seem to be fine it there.
  8. thanks insect direct will keep that in mind
  9. in terms of branches are apple tree branches ok or are they bad for frogs?
  10. Hey all been a long time from my last post. me and a flat mate got some tadpole's a few weeks ago from a pet shop down here and there just at the stage where they can climb out of water :happy1: judgeing from size and colour i think there Whistling tree frogs. but i have a few questions is a small exoterra terrium an ok size for 4 of these little guys once there hopping arround? and i was thinking of putting a few small carnivirous plants (sundue and a pitcher) and a few (small) tree branches in for them would this cause any problems? tank will be lit with a small jebo clip on light and most likely have a sphagnum moss does anybody else use sphagnum moss with their frogs? Thanks in advance for any help/advice

  12. well i haven't fully decided yet  plants that i like that dont grow how i want them to are Stargrass, Ambulia, Ludwigia, because they grow very fast and the lower leaves die off  other plants ill have are a sword plant and the usual java fern / Anubias in the mid ground and a Glossostigma carpet in the front if the lights strong enough
