Thanks for that feedback. I have been feeding them frozen blood worms. There is some uneaten food as they are messy eaters/dont always get it, although they seem to search and find most of what they missed the first time. Anyother suggestions for what to feed them? I have been using a gravel syphon, but probably not often enough, about once every two weeks.

I am unsure of what to do to keep my tank clean? Changeing water how much and how often? The brownish stuff that grows in the tank - what is it -what to do about it -how to aviod it? Why is there an oily film on the surface of the water? I have a tank with an under gravel filter and it has two axolotyls in it. Thanks

I have one of those filters that have a plastic tray at the bottom of the tank covered in stones and two air tubes running down. I cant see how it works, can you enlighten me? What are the options for other filters and their pros and cons? Also what's the deal with snails are they worth having mine got eaten... And what about gravel cleaners like bi-valves/mussles etc? :-?

I have a couple of young axolotyls and one of them got a fungus on its front right leg. It went all fury. So I got some anti-septic (from masterpet) but it hasn't got better. Also I think that the other one has attacked it and bitten of the foot. But I think that I read somewhere that they grow back?? Any suggestions? :oops:
