  1. Mine seems to hide for weeks at a time...just when i think he is dead he pops out
  2. I'd forgotten about earth quakes! Coming from England, and now Alabama, USA. Not sure on tank location etc, depends on if we rent to buy when moved, initial location will probably be Dunedin. Ideal situation it will be biuld into a wall and have a fishroom or garage behind or possibly divider between two rooms.

  4. If all goes to plan in about a years time I should be in NZ. And i want to build a big saltwater system, and by big I'm talking about 1500L for the display tank, and this leads me to a couple of questions the first being Can tanks of this size be made/obtained in NZ? Thanks Andy
  5. If/when i do another FW setup it will have a sump. #1 you can hide the heater etc #2 more water volume, so stocking density can be slightly higher etc etc
  6. Yup the pillar does need something, and caps are a good idea The vortechs are great, i'll be honest and say i had some problems early on, bt vortech/icecap have fixed the problems quickly and free. When i sell the tank to move...i'll be keeping the vortechs
  7. Quick picture here Will probably be Dunedin, as my wife wants to attend the university for her Marine Biology masters.
  8. Here i am, english guy, living in America, hope to be moving to NZ in about 12 months time. Current have a 400L marine setup & 250l marine setup
