Let me rephrase that: We are having Wok over for dinner. Bottles sitting by door wrapped up so they do not roll around in the back of Wok's car - they can slide around in pairs, but not roll per se... All I have to do is remember to give them to him before he leaves :-?

This month we are back at the National Aquarium to have a sneak peek at the new penguin habitat. All welcome, tea and bikkies provided, meeting starts at 7.30pm in the Education Room to the right of the main doors.

You are only after the mozzie larvae or daphnia if there is any in there. Don't put the algae in your tank! How I harvest them is get a container and fill it with fresh water if you are going to feed out straight away, or tank water if you are going to keep them for a couple of days and feed them out slowly. Net the critters out and put them in the container. You do not want to be adding the water from the outside container to your tanks, and I feed them out with a turkey baster into the tanks.

Nup - no checking just throw them in!
