The pond is an old para swimming pool that we didnt use and was doing nothing so I decided that I wanted it converted into a pond . So 2 yrs ago my son cut the pool in half so it is about 900 deep and 3.63x 7.27 about 23750 L or 5231 gal. I think. We have recently concrete the waterfall and thats when I noticed the PH going up so I have painted the concrete with pond paint as I read that may cause the PH to rise. Did that 2 weeks ago have put in chemicals to reduce PH okay for a day back high again. But algae is also a problem. But I love sitting outside next to my pond watching all the fish and listen to the water running done the waterfall and out of the fountain.

Good morning everyone I am having a bit of a problem with my pond. The Ph level keeps going up. I reduce it and the next day it is high again. What is the safe Ph for goldfish? :-? Has anyone ideas why the Ph keeps going high? HELP PLEASE!!!

Morning everyone Have had a swimming pool converted into a fish pond dont really no much about keeping fish, but started off with 6 and have about 50 now. My son built me a water fall and I am still working on it. Just like to say Hi to you all. Have lots of questions and need help.
