i have tried poystyrene, the whole lot ended up floating, even when weighed down with rocks and bricks, the moment there was some movement, they came tumbling down, The ony saviour was the glass was 10mm thick

I'm stumped because he is definitely a male - colouring, size etc and they have sucessfully breed before with live fry so this is why I am so perplexed about what I saw . What is plastic sexing?

I happened to observe the breeding ritual of a couple of my blue zebras today and the male appeared to be the one laying the eggs that the female then picked up in her mouth! I am slightly confused as all books I've read state that the female lays the eggs but they were definitely coming out of the male. Does anyone know anything about this?
