- Notes: A new import late 1996. From the nature of this floating plant it is possible it will have a short life in this country. Its mass of fine roots gives good shelter for young fry and also seems edible. The pinkish red leaves strongly resemble Ludwigia but we suggest this may prove to be a Limnobium spp.
