Its been a long time since I've been here, but I've finally settled into my studies at Otago and have just bought myself an Aquanano 40! I plan to make this a low tech planted tank (still deciding on plants) and hope to add a few dwarf puffers into the tank once I get it started up (probably in a month or so once exams are over). I've bought myself some fluorite (just wondering if I can cap this with sand?). Also if anyone knows where to get some good driftwood or rocks around Dunedin please share!
