Amelia Posted June 30, 2014 Report Share Posted June 30, 2014 I've acquired a 10l rimless tank and am wondering if there is anything that will actually live in it? I don't think its big enough for a betta. I have a nano filter and one of those teeny heaters which are preset to 26C. Its planted with aquabasis + river sand/gravel. I considered a scarlet badis or 4x mosquito rasbora but even then I feel mean putting them in it. Oh if only we could get fancy shrimp in NZ. :cry1: Any suggestions? SanityChelle Posted June 30, 2014 Report Share Posted June 30, 2014 Maybe just a planted scape with no fish/shrimp in it? You could top it up with water change water from another tank. SamH Posted July 3, 2014 Report Share Posted July 3, 2014 IME 10L is plenty for a Betta, fancy tail types are actually less stressed when they don't have to swim as far to the surface.
