Adrienne
This is great! I do wish you were a FNZAS member and could register this breeding. That way, if otos were banned from being imported we would have the necessary documented evidence years down the track.
waterlogged
was thinking about maybe getting registered now I am back into full time work but they are the only fish I have right now. How likely is it that they would get banned down the track? depending on the room I will have when I find a new flat might start breeding corys again too. Sophia
Next time I get me more ottos I'm going to try them in a tank of their own. Haven't yet been able to get them to eat processed food though.
waterlogged
Haven't yet been able to get them to eat processed food though. What have you been feeding them? courgette and what not? I just put the algae tabs in and they seemed to go for them. If I have babies next time I head up to Auckland I might do A fish run. Haven't done for a couple of years
Sophia
the only non algae thing they eat is pumpkin
waterlogged
Got this guy yesterday to help keep the new fry numbers down till I get a bigger tank. Never gone for a red fighter before but I quite like him and he hasn't been bothering any of my current fry which is awesome.
Bishop
lol, off the wagon he says, not keeping fish he says. :dnc1: Good stuff man That Beta looks nice, I would be keen to get some photos of him one day. waterlogged
Great. Hard to get an exact count bit it would be 20+. The largest is about 15mm. Does anyone know what size they would be alright to sell? I know they are too small now but do they need to be the size of the ones in pet stores?
Li@m
20-25mm would be a decent size. Keep in mine that ottos only get to 50mm

Li@m
Have your camera ready and set up in front of the tank and then drop the wafer infront of the camera.
