Sorry to hear about the lack of support, it is the sign of the times with the hobby , it appears to be in major recession going by the lack of forum post over the last 12 months and the slow down of fish Business in general. Caryl Posted March 12, 2013 Report Share Posted March 12, 2013 I don't think the hobby itself has a problem with enthusiasm, it is the clubs. People today (speaking very generally) seem to prefer to look stuff up on the internet rather than attend a meeting. Our club has problems in that half the members work different shifts (and these change too for some) so it is impossible to get a time that suits the majority. Also many of the more mature people are getting out of the hobby, and the uptake of new people getting into it is less.
