Fake plants - are these safe?

Not sure which section this is best put under but I stumbled across this online while looking for some real looking fake plants for my cichlid tank http://www.treemakers.co.nz/Products%20Frame%20Set.htm (looking at the ferns & grasses).

Does anyone know whether these would be safe for aquarium use? :dunno:

I'm currently using aqua one silk plants but they seem to get dirty easily and with some of them the fish can easily rip them and pull leaves off etc.

Stupid fish

best to email them, I think those ones may have metal wire cores that may rust

Oh good point! Didn't even think of that!

I might just track down some anubis nana, that's ment to be too leathery for fish to eat huh? Having said that I'm still finding peices of digestest aqua one silk plants so maybe not
