Firstly I have never had any problems contacting Brendan at Zeovit NZ, I email and Brendan replies the same day, the service is A1.Thank you Brendan. I think everyone one knows by now I'm running Zeovit with absolutely no problems at all. I have a soft coral tank with heaps of leathers and had no problems, I think every thing is very happy and I have noticed better extention on my stoney softies. I have one hard coral that has coloured and plumped up nicely and within a short time of starting Zeovit. Zeovit is bringing down my nitrates slowly which I think is a good thing, not to fast is the rule. It has been hard to give it a fair judgement at this stage, because I have done so much work on my tank over the past few months since I started with Zeovit. (added 2nd tank which runs off the same sump as the big tank lots more rock and sand etc.) all in all still held the tank stable I was quite amazed, I was exspecting some movement. I feel if you are going to use the product, you must follow instruction, I have seen others using it without stirring which is recommended twice daily which I don't find a problem ( I don't miss scrubbing my teeth twice a day it's just the same routine, like other aspects of marine keeping you can't be lazy) I also have purchased the recommended filter to make life easier you just pull the handle up and down and it turns the rock. Also it is recommended to do a 5% water change weekly, which I find easier than doing a big one once a month, made easy from living by the sea ( I wander if this is causing problems when people don't do it.) I don't need to post photos as your've all seen my tank and I am using Zeovit to improve water qaulity. I hope this helps anyone wishing to try Zeovit just ask Brendan if your not sure.

Jetskisteve how long did you say your've been waiting for this to happen to your apricot/pink Photos are a bit rushed no time for anything at the moment the shop is crazy This is the second anemone to split the other one split twice so now I have three more than I bargined for.

Alan are you pulling my leg? The bigger one is about 75mm and differs a bit in shape, the smaller one has a more oval body, they are nice fish to keep get along with each other well when they are not cleaner their teeth Also do a good job on cleaning the plants.

Yes I had heard it was aggression, so does that mean they are both males or could I be lucky enough to have a pair and she doesn't like him.

Leathers need lots of flow and light, you could try pointing a small powerhead at it for a few days. Can you put a photo up so I can see it, its hard to tell other wise. Thay can get some mite thing I would have to look it up in my book.

Don't use Webshots unless you just put up url, Webshots is a good place to have your albums, but I have to use Photo bucket if I want to put on the site.

Fab Tank!! thats a big one plenty of room in there to grow everything. I look forward to seeing it when your've got it how you want it, because it already looks great to me not bad going for two weeks

Reef I have been giving him the garlic treatment from Hollywoods for the last couple of days. Mixing with grated Whitebait and putting it in a syringe like you said you do. Thanks for the help will see how he goes.

Managed to take some photos of my sickfish notice the weight loss from the pics at the start of subject I've had this fish for well over a year and his weight loss was sudden.

Had mine for about six months plus, doesn't jump, cruises around at 100 miles an hour in and out of the rocks feeding doesn't stay out as such always on the move very beautiful fish.

My experience with Iodine: Not that I know what I'm doing, I would have asked the same. But anyway I used to add it every week at recommended dose but could never get the test kit to move up, wish I could say the same for nitrates. Stopped dosing in July after talking with Pies on the subject<> result better looking everything, the Iodine was turning everything brown, now everything has more colour and expands more. I have always used NSW plus Iodine-Strontium-Trace Hard - Trace Soft- magnesium- Kalk. up until I started with Zeovit. With Zeovit I have more colour more expansion. I still use Kalk and magnesium plus I shoot any glass anemones in the eye with Salifert Coral Calcium. I don't seem to have any problems keeping up the calcium levels. All these improvements may also have something to do with the fact that we do 5% water changes weekly with NSW as required with the Zeovit System.

I've got heaps they breed like mad, to bad you are so far away.

Warren I'm a little worried about the fish at night, I have put a small powerhead on a timer to come on when the lights go off, plus the external filter moves the top of the water do you think this is ok, should I put the thingie on the powerhead to make bubbles or is it better without, and or should I be doing something else.
