  1. Would the Zebra loaches be ok in there with him long term?

I take it i should move my younger and breeding GBA?

Another bigger tank is ready and waiting, or i buy a nice 300L or so tank.

lets say they grow very slowly ;) you will be all good for quite a while haha

    zebra loaches will be good

Breeding GBA will be fine, babys probably not

  2. I know it calculates the adult size of fish...

But how can it be correct to house 20 Clownloaches in a tank with a common pleco that will grow to around 2ft and 2 sens which get big too???

I dont sea any logic to it?

You can move fish to other tanks ;)

  3. no? when you consider floor space available 20 would be allot...

not only that is the filter up to that bioload?

I would say 20 would be way to much and you would be better with a smaller amount...

so a 432 L tank wouldn't grow out 20 CL very well? I personally think it would be fine

  4. Its fine as long as you outcross to other every 4/5 generations, its how to cement their genetics (for need of a better word ). But its a bad idea if the parents have bad genetics

And your title should be inbreeding :D and if you are trying to create a strain of colour/morph, Line breeding

  5. Hello Ras 8)

EDIT: If you get a big tank, go planted not africans. You won't regret it.

    :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Hello again :D, plants are so much better than africans  8) (cept for maybe retarded eels o.O)

  6. I've seen this online store on ebay which is based in Hong Kong. It sells CO2 regulator dual gauged + solenoid magnetic valve for normal CO2 cylinders (not disposable). The CO2 equipment is very affordable and it is made in Taiwan by UP.

Has anybody used this and what is your experience with it.

I am looking at getting one at some point. I also want to know if it will fit NZ cylinders. The specs is 22mm in diameter and thread is UK, Europe, Japan, Taiwan standard (JIS m22-14).

I'm getting tired of DIY CO2 which slows down during winter.

Have you tried looking locally for a homebrew store? you will also need to find someone to fill up your bottle of pressurised CO2 when it runs out...
