i just managed to crack my big tanks lid. Its in 3 parts. Do i silicone it? get a piece of perspex? any help would be great. i have carefully put the lid back on as i have cats how love to fish and sleep on top so i will keep them off for now. Ainz

Thanks guys. I just did what I think Ballistic said and gavwe them a good feed of lettuce and cranked up the temp. They are on 28* and ill do my water tests when i can get them outa the bedroom. The other half is still asleep.

Something has finally breed other than guppies and bristles. I have Apple Snail Eggs. Dont kinda know why its so exciting but it is. Anywayw I has two batchs now. Im pretty sure. Its very fine white dusting. All over the gravel and slowly starting to go up the glass. Ainz

I have just looked at the gravel in one of my ta nks. Its got a very fine white mould growing. What do i do? Clean it out and start again? It has guppies, swords and a bristlenose. Is there a chemical i can put in it to clear it up. Any help would be wonderful. Thanks Ainz

Hi ya, Just a suggestion have you tried Hutt Pets? They always have plain glass tanks. Thats where I got my 160L from. Roughly 80x40x50 (lxwxh) for $130. Actually thats where all 5 of my tanks have come from. But the other four are all in one jobs. (2x jebos, 1 aquafun and a AA) Not sure if its what your after but worth a looksie. Ainz

its a silly shark one that you can turn the nozzle at the bottom for flow. I didnt realise when i cleaned it out a couple of days before i had forgot to close them up again. it was only a littly (3cm) that i got for billaney. so if he gets beck to me this afternoon ill replace it and all will be well.
