Freshwater, mid and lower regions of tank, can be aggressive

PH range: 6.5 – 7.5; dH range: 8-12.   Tropical; 23°C - 25°C

Distribution Africa: Endemic to and widely distributed in Lake Tanganyika.

Size: To 12.5 cm                                                                    

 Diet: Worms, crustaceans, insects, will take flake and pellet foods, will eat smaller fish
