Freshwater; benthopelagic; pH range: 6.0 - 6.5; dH range: 1 - 6; non-migratory.   Tropical; 22°C - 24°C

Distribution Countries Africa: southeastern Nigeria and southwestern Cameroon.

Size 5.0 cm Short Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-13; Anal soft rays: 12 - 15

Restricted to brooks in the coastal rainforest with a calcium containing soil. Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium
