- Grows well in loam on sand or shingle substratum in cold mountain lakes. Water should be soft acid & clear. A very decorative foreground plant - rarely kept in aquaria.
- Propagation
- Best in outdoor ponds on a sandy bottom with mud. A specialist plant - hard to culture
