they were labeled Celebes i think,but i think they are red fin as the beak is not curved but they have black tips on the fins, very little guys only about 3 cm, i got the bully out of the 3 cause i felt he was probably the healthiest.

as expected i missed out lol they got 15 in 3 days ago and there were 3 males left when i went today, so i got one male. have left my name and number for females if they are able to get more in. so hopefully the male doesn't stress too much being alone.

was planning on one male and two females?

they will definitely be moved into a bigger tank when they grow and breed, this tank was just a quick local pickup. wouldn't getting one would just stress the fish out?

i have put the goldies sponge media in the tank, and am slowly bringing the temp up

tank is 40L and i just want 3 little half beaks

hey guys, i've seen some fish i want, however i don't have a tropical tank set up. i have goldies (bubble eyes) and Turtles. i have bought a tank and was wondering if i can place the filter media in the goldies tank to get the good bacteria in there? or will the temp change kill them? i will raise the temp slowly,or would the turtle tank be better?. if i can, how long should i leave it in there? i'm wanting to get the fish asap so i dont miss out. TIA
